I. POSTING
How do I post pictures?
You must first have the pictures uploaded to an image host that allows remote linking, such as PhotoBucket, ImageShack, TinyPic, etc. If your image was located at "http://www.website.com/images/picture.jpg" for example, you'd use the following BB code:
You can also upload a picture when you make a post. The option to do this is under "Attachments." Click the "Choose File" button to find the file on your computer. When you submit your post, a thumbnail link to the image will be shown.
How do I change my font/size/color/etc?
By using BB code. Remember, you must close your tags for them to work. The options are available without manually entering code when you are submitting a post (not in quick reply mode)
If you post a link with "http://" in front of the URL, the boards will automatically make it a clickable link.
BB code is useable in all posts, PMs, and signatures. However, it won't work in PM subject titles, thread titles, or custom member titles.
What happened to my thread? It was there, but now it's gone!
There are a couple reasons for a thread "disappearing":
01. It was in the wrong forum
02. One of the moderators considered the thread inappropriate
03. You were starting/spreading a rumor about the band and/or one of its members, or;
04. It didn't get bumped for awhile and was deleted upon thread pruning, which is done regularly to help keep the boards running fast.
If you don't want to risk having your thread(s) being deleted, post them in the proper forum(s)
How do I use the search feature?
Click on Search at the top center of the main page and input what you are looking for. You can search in different forums or even search by member.
How do I know if a thread I'd like to make has already been done?
Use the Search option.
How can I quote someone without having to copy and paste everything?
On the top right side of the post that you want to quote is a "quote" button. If you click it, it'll take you to the reply page with the quote already done for you
I've made a mistake in my post, how do I fix/delete it?
On the top right side of your post there is a "modify" button. If you click that, you can modify your post. You can also delete your post if you click the "delete" button.
The date on the boards is wrong! How do I fix it?
By default, the boards are set to Central Time. To set your time zone, go to 'Profile" at the top center of the page. Go to "Modify Profile" which is located next to Member Bio. Scroll down to the very bottom and select your time zone. Click "Modify Profile" at the very bottom to save your changes.
Does voting in polls add to your post count?
Nope. Sorry!
How do I link to a specific post in a thread?
At the bottom right of a post, there is a "Link to post" button. If you select this, the link will show up in your URL bar. Copy and paste this URL into the thread you are linking the post to.

How can I change my username?
Unfortunately, even I can’t change your username. However, you can change your display name (which will display in lieu of your username) by going to “Profile” at the top center of the page and selecting “Modify Profile” next to Member Bio. Right under Account Information, you can change your Display Name. Click "Modify Profile" at the very bottom to save your changes.
How do I change my member title?
Only administrators and moderators can add custom titles. If you want one really bad, contact me and I’ll add it to your profile.
How do I get an avatar?
Click on “Profile” at the top center of the page and then select “Modify Profile” next to Member Bio. Scroll down to the Personal Information section. Here, you can select a prefabricated avatar by Pro Boards or use your own. The avatar cannot be bigger than 100x100 pixels. Place the URL of your desired avatar in the “Avatar URL” box and type in the Width and Height of the icon. Click "Modify Profile" at the very bottom to save your changes.
How do I get a picture in my signature?
Click on “Profile” at the top center of the page and then select “Modify Profile” next to Member Bio. Scroll down to the Signature box. Copy and paste the URL of your chosen image into this:
Please keep the images at a reasonable size. If they are too large, I will give you a heads up. Click "Modify Profile" at the very bottom to save your changes.
III. PERSONAL MESSENGER
How do I send messages?
There is a little red envelope button under a member's name when they post or this is also available in the "Members" tab. Like anything else, there is a 15 second Flood Control for sending messages.
How do I find out if I have any new messages?
If you scroll down on the front of the home page, there is an Info Center and on the right side it will tell you how many new Personal Messages you have.

How can I log in anonymously?
You can do this in two ways:
To set as anonymous every time you log in, click on the "Profile" link in the top center of the page and select "Modify Profile" next to Member Bio. Scroll down to where it says Account Preferences and select 'yes' next to Stay Invisible. Click "Modify Profile" at the very bottom to save your changes.
The second way is to go to the forum home, scroll down to the bottom and click the red X's. They will turn into green checks.
Why do we have to have flood control, and is there a way to get around it?
Flood control protects the boards from being flooded with a lot of posts. Pro Boards automatically sets Flood Control at 15 seconds. You can wait that long. The Administrator and Moderators don't have a flood control limit.
What are the different member levels, and how many posts are needed for each one?
* All Alone = 0-9
* The Gambler = 10-49
* One Foot = 50-99
* * All The Pretty Girls = 100-199
* * Be Calm = 200-399
* * * Carry On = 400-799
* * * We Are Young = 800-999
* * * * Walking The Dog = 1000-1499
* * * * Aim and Ignite = 1500-1999
* * * * * Some Nights = 2000+
I don't like seeing peoples' signatures/avatars. Is there a way to turn them off?
Yes. Go to "Profile" located at the top middle of the page. To the right of "Member's Bio", select Modify Profile.
Scroll down to Account Preferences.
For signatures: Where it says, "Show Signatures" select "No."
For avatars: Where it says, "Show Avatars" select "No."
Then scroll down and select "Modify Profile".

What does "BUMP" mean?
It stands for "Bring Up My Post." It's used if a post of interest falls off the front page (or more) and the person doing the bumping doesn't want the thread to die.
And if you choose to bump a post, please make sure it's at least off of the first page of the forum. Otherwise, there's no need to bump it and it just annoys other boardies. Or at least try to be creative when you bump a thread.
